Mars Finance News, March 24 — China’s first “Embodied Intelligence Engineering Robot Industry Standard” development work has been launched in Chengdu, Sichuan. The industry standard is expected to be published within this year, filling the gap in the intelligent engineering robot industry, establishing unified standards for product technology evaluation, safety regulations, and large-scale application, and promoting the industry from “technology research and development” to “rule-making.”

At the event, the Chengdu Humanoid Robot Innovation Center also released the world’s first multimodal large model for embodied intelligence engineering robots. This model has overcome challenges related to multi-robot collaboration and efficient cross-robot scheduling on engineering sites, with core advantages such as multi-robot coordination, multi-source data analysis, and autonomous intelligent decision-making. It has achieved a leap from “perception intelligence” to “system decision intelligence,” providing a core “brain” support for multi-robot cluster operations on engineering sites. This represents an important breakthrough in the engineering application of embodied intelligence technology.

It also marks a key step for China in moving from technical breakthroughs to industrial applications in solving challenges related to high-altitude and extreme environment intelligent construction and maintenance. (CCTV News)
