Hallo everyone...Slowly I started to realise the genets are old enough to go back to nature...I watched them catch insects by themselves and as soon as it started to get dark they would race and jump and run around the cage...It was clear that the "big cage" has become to small...Every day I said to myself it will happen tonight but every day I found an excuse...Just one more day where they can get nice food...It is raining so not tonight...but on the 2nd of March I knew it was time...As always letting go is not so easy...They were so weak when we found them...Their little paws and whiskers were burnt...and they needed fluid to help them...As I walked with them one last time in the small cage, I was a little sad...The one ran off immediately but the other one stayed in the cage for a while...We left and when we came back they were gone...There is lots of insects around at the moment and they are fat and strong and will make it...I have no doubt...

As always I am thankful to have had them in my life...They are beautiful and pure joy...And the feeling of sadness is a small price to pay against the feeling of happiness that they made it back to nature...
Enjoy the freedom...and come back to visit...
