Nvidia Launches New Server Cabinet Compatible with Competitors' AI Chips
Nvidia faces increasingly fierce competition in the artificial intelligence chip market. However, the chip design company has found a new way to make money even with competitors’ chips. At the annual GTC developer conference last week, Nvidia announced a new server cabinet designed to support its own chips as well as those of its competitors. According to two insiders familiar with the project, the new cabinet is equipped with Nvidia’s networking technology, enabling high-speed, stable interconnection between chips inside the cabinet.
