$BTC completed, reputation ruined at the end, the good yield got wrecked again. Shorted and got stopped out, longed and got liquidated directly. How the hell am I supposed to play this.

Just don't trade futures, play ETFs instead. With spot trading at 5x leverage for both long and short, there's no liquidation risk, and the psychological pressure isn't as intense. I turned 75U into 987U in 20 days—making 10% a day is enough, which corresponds to only a 2% move in the spot market.
