Deep Tide TechFlow News: On March 16, according to Decrypt, the Australian Senate Economic Legislation Committee released a report supporting the advancement of the "2025 Corporate Amendment (Digital Asset Framework) Bill" through the legislative process. The bill proposes to bring digital asset platforms and tokenized custody services under the existing financial services legal regulatory framework, requiring relevant operators to hold an Australian Financial Services License (AFSL) and meet asset safeguarding and retail customer disclosure requirements. The bill will include a six-month transition period upon taking effect.
