Genspark.ai, revolutionizing workflows with the AI assistant 'Genspark Claw'
Artificial Intelligence Workspace Startup Genspark.ai today announced the launch of a new AI assistant, Genspark Claw. The product is presented as a cloud computing environment tailored for individual users, built on Genspark Cloud Computer. This instance is pre-configured for each user, enabling one-click activation. The system maintains data isolation and provides an environment capable of independently executing tasks, running applications, and managing workflows.
This service offers an alternative to the rapidly growing open-source AI agent platform OpenClaw. While OpenClaw can perform real-world tasks such as web searches, coding, and local system operations, its adoption within enterprises is limited due to security and compliance concerns. Genspark’s service addresses OpenClaw’s security risks and configuration complexity, ensuring each user’s data is isolated from others and that full access control is maintained.
Genspark Claw serves as the global execution layer of the company’s AI workspace platform, supporting user interactions with assistants via communication platforms like WhatsApp, Telegram, Microsoft Teams, Slack, and others. The system can receive user commands to perform tasks such as research, document writing, meeting scheduling, email management, and code deployment.
Alongside the release of the new Genspark Claw, the company also announced several updates to the AI workspace platform aimed at achieving more efficient, automated, and collaborative workflows. The new features enable automation of repetitive tasks across enterprise applications like Google Workspace, Outlook, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Notion, Salesforce, X, and more. Additionally, a sidebar assistant feature provided through a Chrome extension can understand webpage context and assist with browser-side operations.
Genspark (legal entity Mainfunc Inc.) has raised a total of $460 million in funding since its founding, approximately 6.624 trillion Korean won. Major investors include Emergence Capital Partners, SBI Investment Co. Ltd., LG Technology Ventures, Pavilion Capital Pte. Ltd., UpHonest Capital, and Lanchi Ventures.
