Old-school coins like ZEC, DASH, and XMR have made significant moves recently.

There is still a sleeping giant in the same category: Ethereum Classic. $ETC
When Ethereum switched to PoS, a large number of miners migrated to ETC.
Before Ethereum's transition to PoS in 2022, ETC's hash rate was in the 20–30 TH/s range. With the switch, ETC became the main refuge for miners.
As of early 2026, the hash rate on the ETC network has stabilized between 180–210 TH/s.
In other words, miner power has increased exponentially.
This indicates that the network is in its most secure period in history against 51% attacks.
In other words, network security and miner strength have increased many times over compared to the past.
Despite this, the price is still:
Well below its ATH.
Lags behind in market cap.
But ETC is listed on all major exchanges and is quite liquid.
Grayscale ETC Trust is still active and a major holding.
Old but liquid coins generally make the most aggressive moves.
After the privacy shift, I believe the rotation towards the next stage, moving into secure and old PoW category coins, is quite strong technically and fundamentally.
Of course, this scenario also highlights LTC.
But in my opinion, since the market value remains quite low, ETC could be the real breakout coin.
ZEC-4,5%
DASH-3,97%
ETC-0,88%
