My 18‑year‑old son broke up with his girlfriend a couple of months ago and it was a mess. Yesterday he told me he had to help a friend who was having a problem with his ex, because apparently she was stalking him during practice.
The first thing that came to my mind was: “Son, no man needs help dealing with an ex after a breakup. Let her be, she’s a heartbroken girl, don’t interfere.”
Is it just me, or are the new generations a little too soft?
When I was young, even if a girl broke up with me, she was usually the one crying and I had to comfort her. Nowadays boys break up, get stalked, and need help.
What do you think is this normal? For me it sounds like an up side down world.
