I don't understand Iran and don't know how to evaluate Iran. But I believe that Iran's development issues are not simply a matter of political system choice. The US government, with a debt of $39 trillion, can't even manage its enormous national debt, so it's unlikely to have the capacity to develop Iran well. US actions against Iran are also just driven by its own interests to eliminate the threat Iran poses to the US. I do not support the US, nor do I support Iran. Iran's national conditions might be somewhat similar to China during the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period—very complex, with deep-rooted reasons involving geography, economy, and other intricate factors. China's tumultuous history over the past two thousand years has helped some Chinese understand the country's situation; chaos and unity are not ideal options. However, simply understanding social development through the lens of democracy and authoritarianism now seems to me a very naive idea. Iran's current chaos may be a sign of future disorder in the global order. As the world’s policeman, the US itself owes $39 trillion, and it struggles to keep itself afloat, let alone other countries. $BTC
