Privacy gaming platform FOOM CASH was attacked on Base and Ethereum, resulting in a loss of $2.26 million.

Odaily Planet Daily reports that, according to GoPlus monitoring, the privacy gaming platform FOOM CASH was attacked on both Base and Ethereum, resulting in a loss of 24,283,773,519,600 FOOM tokens (approximately $22.6 million).

The vulnerability exploited in this attack was due to an incorrect verification key configuration. The attacker exploited this flaw to forge zkSNARK proofs and then extracted a large amount of FOOM tokens from the compromised contract.
