The EU launches an investigation into X's AI chatbot Grok

PANews January 26 News, the European Commission has launched an investigation into X’s AI chatbot Grok under the Digital Services Act. The EU will examine whether X has appropriately assessed and mitigated the risks related to the dissemination of illegal content, including manipulated pornographic images.
The EU stated that there is reason to believe that X did not conduct a temporary risk assessment when launching the Grok feature in Europe.
