Noble announces an important shift in its stablecoin infrastructure plan — the plan to gradually shut down the existing Cosmos SDK application chains and officially launch a standalone EVM Layer 1 network on March 18.

The logic behind this architectural adjustment is clear: by migrating to the EVM ecosystem, Noble aims to open up more possibilities for stablecoin and foreign exchange-related applications. However, the transition is not a simple switch; they have promised to continue maintaining existing assets and liquidity on the Cosmos chain during the transition period, and IBC cross-chain connections will not be interrupted.

In the long term, Noble's core goal is to gradually move the main liquidity to the new Layer 1 network. This approach is quite realistic — it won't harm existing users and can seek growth within the new ecosystem. For those interested in the development of stablecoin infrastructure, this shift is worth paying attention to.

Noble is shifting from Cosmos to EVM. This move seems a bit conservative, as they still need to maintain the old chain... However, the stablecoin market is indeed much more lively on the EVM side.

Noble turning to EVM? Feels a bit like riding the trend, is Cosmos really that unappealing?

Noble is making a move again, jumping from Cosmos to EVM. This turnaround is quite bold. Wait, can it really transition smoothly without hurting existing users? It feels like someone will always get caught in the crossfire. With the EVM ecosystem so competitive, can Noble break through? Question mark. I understand this logic, but is liquidity migration really that smooth? I'm a bit worried about the risk of liquidity dispersion. The stablecoin track finally has some new developments, much more interesting than those copycats.

Another one leaving Cosmos, EVM is really the best choice.

Oh wow, Noble's recent architecture overhaul is quite intense, jumping directly from Cosmos to EVM... Wait, during the transition period, are they still maintaining liquidity? Isn't that to reassure existing users? That's pretty thoughtful. The key is whether the new Layer 1 can really come to fruition, or it'll just be a PowerPoint presentation.
