Every cycle, the same story plays out. Traders dive into altcoins with one vision—explosive gains, portfolio explosions, life-changing moves. The expectation? Watch Bitcoin stabilize, then capital floods into alts. Layer-1s pump, DeFi tokens surge, small-cap gems finally get their moment.
But here's reality.
While you're timing your entry, liquidity dries up. Volume that looked solid yesterday evaporates. Winners emerge, sure—but they're never the ones you actually held. Correlation to Bitcoin? Still there. That "alt season independence" you've been reading about? Turns out it's more complicated. Volatility spikes without directional clarity. Rug pulls and failed launches fill the feed. Some tokens do run, but by the time retail notices, insiders have already cashed out.
The pattern repeats: massive anticipation, partial delivery, lingering regret. The altcoin market moves differently than the narrative suggests—and that gap between expectation and reality is where most traders get caught.

Here we go again, as soon as the market stabilizes, it's all in on small coins, and it still gets cut. Liquidity evaporates, volume is deceptive, and the ones always making money are the manipulators. I've memorized this routine.

Damn, they’re doing this again? Every time they say it’s different this time, but I still get trapped.
---
Really? The inside info was gone long ago, and we’re still taking the fall at the bottom. This game is a bit dirty.
---
Wait... so my small coins have no chance at all? That’s heartbreaking, brother.
---
The part about liquidity evaporating hit me hard. Overnight, no one was trading anymore.
---
It’s ridiculous. Every day I see big V’s shouting “to the moon,” and as soon as I enter, it turns into a chopping block for chives.
---
This time I specifically waited for BTC to stabilize before rushing in... but it’s still the same? My mental state is collapsing.
---
The same script every cycle, but we still fly into the fire, hahaha.
---
So is there still a chance now, or is it just like this?
---
That rug pull part was so real. My degen fund was wiped out completely.
---
The gap between expectations and reality is exactly what caused me to lose a hundred times more over the past half year.
---
Small coins with no liquidity—what a perfect description. I’ve experienced going from a daily limit up to a dump in one second.
---
Oh, I’ve been educated by reality once again. Next cycle, continue?

It's the same story again. Every time, they say alt season is coming, but it still gets cut.
I've seen through it long ago. By the time retail investors enter, the big players have already left.
Once liquidity evaporates, it's over. There's no independent market at all.
Wait, what about the few small coins I hold…

Here we go again, always talking nicely but it's the same every time... waiting for BTC to stabilize before capital floods into altcoins, and what’s the result? Liquidity has long disappeared.
It's always the same routine, timing the entry only to get trapped, volume evaporates overnight, and those coins that run away don’t even get to us, we have to jump off the cliff with BTC, any notion of independence is just hype.
This round, we need to learn our lesson again.
How many times do insiders have to cut us before we learn... The gap between expectation and reality is just our grave.
NGL, this article is speaking the truth, but if I had known it would turn out like this, I’d rather just hold Bitcoin.
Only big players really enjoy the show; retail investors are always the bagholders every time.

Trying to trick us into entering again? This same story is played out every cycle, it's really getting annoying.
