Original Title: Cryptocurrency ETP Records Highest Inflow in 2026… Led by Bitcoin
Original Link:
Cryptocurrency investment products recorded the highest capital inflow in 2026.
According to CoinShares(CoinShares) data, last week’s cryptocurrency exchange-traded products(ETP) attracted about $2.2 billion, marking the largest increase since October last year.
However, the weekly flow was not entirely smooth. While there was a strong upward trend early in the week, market sentiment was somewhat shaken on Friday as $378 million flowed out due to geopolitical tensions in Greenland and new tariff concerns. Additionally, policy uncertainty triggered by Kevin Hasset being mentioned as a potential candidate for the next Federal Reserve(Fed) chair also acted as a negative factor.
Looking at asset types, Bitcoin led the market with 71% of the total capital inflow, amounting to $1.55 billion. Ethereum also showed strength, recording $496 million compared to the previous week, and funds were evenly flowing into altcoins such as XRP, Solana, SUI(SUI), and Hedera(HBAR).
On the other hand, multi-asset and short Bitcoin investment products saw outflows of $32 million and $8.6 million, respectively, showing mixed flows. Among major issuers, BlackRock(IBIT) dominated with $1.3 billion, followed by Grayscale and Fidelity. Regionally, the US absorbed $2 billion, while Sweden and Brazil experienced slight outflows.
As a result of this large inflow, the total assets under management(AUM) of cryptocurrency investment products surpassed $193 billion, reaching the highest level since early November 2025.
