Ethereum Treasury Operator FG Nexus recently adjusted its holdings strategy. According to on-chain data, the company sold 2,500 ETH four hours ago, with a transaction volume of approximately $8.04 million.

Looking back at the ledger, during the market rally from August to September last year, FG Nexus heavily accumulated ETH at an average price of $3,944, hoarding a total of 50,770 ETH, with a market value reaching $200 million at the time. What happened next? ETH prices continued to decline. To date, the company has gradually reduced its holdings by 13,475 ETH, at an average price of about $3,089, resulting in a loss of $11.52 million.

Currently, they still hold 37,594 ETH, with a market value of $120 million. According to the mNAV indicator, the company's stock market value is trading at a 0.84 discount, with the stock price even lower than the value of its Ethereum assets—this also reflects some pricing pressure from the market on the company's holding structure. This case is quite interesting, as the pressure faced by institutions after building positions at high levels is clearly visible.

Damn, buying in at a high of $110 million worth of ETH and now being sold at a discount. This is the fate of institutions. FG Nexus's recent moves are indeed quite clumsy, losing $15.52 million and still having to cut losses. Heartbreaking. Speaking of which, institutions aren't as smart as we think; they can also fall into traps. This discount rate... indicates that the market doesn't really believe in their holdings. They still hold over 37,000 coins. Continue bleeding or hold steady? That's the question. Entering positions at a high is truly toxic; you can't blame others.

Oh dear, this is what happens when you buy in at a high point. Institutions can't even hold on; 11.52 million just disappeared like that. Whether it's faith or forced liquidation, only they know for sure.

The fate of those who buy at high levels is a bit painful to watch Institutions also get hit, no problem FG Nexus's move is textbook chasing the high; now no one wants to buy at a loss A loss of 11.52 million, this is what you call institutions also crashing Still holding on stubbornly? Should have liquidated early

Oh no, a textbook example of catching the top. $11.52 million just disappeared like that. That's why I never follow institutional trends; they also end up losing out. If institutions can't hold on, retail investors like us should be even more cautious.

Oh my, it's another story of catching the falling knife at a high level. 11.52 million USD is gone just like that... Institutions also have to suffer losses. There's nothing to mythologize about. That's why I never chase highs, really.
