It took some time to explore Dusk, and the most impressive thing is—this is not following a narrative trend, but truly building a chain "with a financial person's mindset."
Compared to projects in the community that are keen on creating concepts, Dusk has regarded compliance and privacy audits as the foundational infrastructure from day one, not as patches after the fact. DuskTrade is about to launch, and cooperation with the regulated exchange NPEX is also progressing. It may seem insignificant, but in fact, it is paving the way for real securities to be on-chain. When real assets worth over €300M are on the chain, the usual DeFi approach will no longer be sufficient.
On the technical side, it’s also interesting. DuskEVM is compatible with Solidity, meaning existing Ethereum developers and ecosystem projects can migrate seamlessly without additional learning costs or redevelopment hassle. This is no small feat for the cold start of an L1 ecosystem.
From an asset perspective, DUSK is more like a "financial infrastructure" type—short-term, it may not be as hot as those tokens that create buzz every day, but when the window opens for large-scale institutional entry and compliance demands explode, this type of project will stand out for its scarcity.

Compliance + privacy auditing as the foundation, this approach is indeed more clear-headed than those who just create concepts.
DuskEVM can directly and seamlessly connect with Solidity developers; cold start really has potential.
€300M in real assets on the chain, ordinary DeFi gameplay is really not enough.
The institutional entry window is opening; this type of infrastructure is the real hard currency.
In the short term, the hype definitely won't be as strong as those riding the narrative, but I am optimistic about this pace.

Things that are compliant are never sexy, but not many actually make it to the day institutions enter the market.

Financial infrastructure is indeed scarce; I'm just worried that when institutional windows open, Dusk will still be laying the groundwork.

Laying the groundwork for compliance, just wait and see the moment when institutions really start pouring in money.

It's rolled up; financial infrastructure is indeed a niche but fiercely competitive track.
The move to compatibility with Solidity is brilliant, saving a lot of hassle with ecosystem migration.
When real assets go on-chain, those currently hyping concepts will have to step aside.
