The CEO stated that he will discuss economic freedom and cryptocurrency adoption with world leaders, promote market structure legislation, and facilitate tokenization to democratize access to capital markets.

“I’m engaging with national leaders to discuss economic freedom and how cryptocurrencies can upgrade their financial systems,” he said in a video, which is the primary goal for this week.

The theme of this year’s Davos forum is “The Spirit of Dialogue.” From his statements, he plans to engage in extensive conversations to advocate for what he calls the financial future, which has already arrived and is built for the people.

Last year’s Davos achievements

Last year, the platform’s CEO reported that cryptocurrencies and artificial intelligence were the most discussed topics at Davos, second only to President Trump himself.

He said that nearly every conversation with major market leaders revolved around the Trump administration’s cryptocurrency plans, especially the proposed strategic Bitcoin reserve, which Trump later established through an executive order in March 2025.

“President Trump is forcing everyone to elevate their standards,” he wrote on social media after the forum. “Basically, every conversation I had with major market leaders focused on what the Trump administration plans to do regarding cryptocurrencies—such as the strategic Bitcoin reserve—and how they can avoid being left behind.”

In a panel discussion at the forum, he described this as a “new dawn” for cryptocurrencies, contrasting sharply with the hostility from his predecessor’s government. “You have to remember: over the past four years, we really felt attacked by this government,” he told the media in Davos.

Bitcoin indeed reached an all-time high of over $126,198 in October 2025; however, it also experienced a brief crash in the same month and has not surpassed $100,000 since November 2025.

Collaboration with bank CEOs

The second item on the CEO’s to-do list at Davos 2026 is to collaborate with bank CEOs to find legislation that works for everyone. “We will continue to work on market structure legislation and meet with some bank CEOs to figure out how we can make this mutually beneficial,” he said.

Given the current boom in stablecoin usage, jurisdictions like the US and Hong Kong have enacted relevant legislation. They are not isolated, as more jurisdictions are developing regulations to oversee stablecoins.

The US is currently working on stronger cryptocurrency legislation, with some provisions drawing the attention of stakeholders and several major bank CEOs, alongside other legislative measures.

Therefore, it is not surprising that he seeks meetings with bank CEOs to explore cooperation.

“As long as we operate in a fair competitive environment, stablecoins should be an opportunity for both banks and crypto companies,” he said, adding that the final decision will be made by the Senate and the current administration.

Democratizing Capital Markets

The CEO’s third priority focuses on tokenization and its potential to expand access to investment opportunities. He cited approximately 4 billion adults worldwide who lack brokerage services and access to quality investments.

“About 4 billion adults worldwide don’t have brokers. They can’t access any high-quality investments,” he said. “This is the engine for creating wealth, and everyone should have access to it. Cryptocurrency will help make this happen.”
