Deep Tide TechFlow News, on January 20th, according to an official announcement, the Zama protocol staking feature has officially launched on the mainnet. Users participating in the Zama public auction can start claiming and staking their tokens from February 2nd.
The Zama protocol adopts a proof-of-stake mechanism, with operators divided into two categories: Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE) nodes responsible for encrypted computation, and Key Management System (KMS) nodes responsible for user threshold decryption. Currently, there are 18 operators, including 5 FHE nodes and 13 KMS nodes.
In terms of reward distribution, FHE nodes receive 40% of the rewards, and KMS nodes receive 60%. Token holders can share rewards by staking tokens with operators. The unstaking period is 7 days.
