A token without purpose is a token that shouldn't exist. If your project can't articulate a clear function or utility for its token—whether it's governance, incentive mechanisms, or protocol economics—then you're not building something sustainable. You're just creating a speculative asset wrapped in a whitepaper. The strongest projects are those where removing the token breaks the entire system. Everything else is just noise.

Really, coins with no practical use are just trash coins, and they can't be changed.

Laughing as I lose this one, watching a bunch of meme coin project teams still telling stories, it's truly incredible.

Basically, it means the token has to be truly useful; otherwise, everything is pointless.

There's nothing wrong with that, but we all know it's easy to say, and only a few projects actually follow through.

Well said, this is exactly what I've been wanting to criticize. Those meme coin projects only know how to write whitepapers, and their tokens are completely useless. Do they even have the nerve to raise funds? It's really annoying.
