【Crypto World】The ETH Gas Foundation has just announced that the snapshot for the GWEI airdrop has been completed, with the timestamp set for 8:00 AM on January 19th. The subsequent schedule is as follows: tomorrow (January 20th) at 9:00 PM, the eligibility check channel for the airdrop will open. By 9:00 PM on January 21st, the community airdrop will be officially distributed.

Getting this airdrop is not that easy. The foundation’s requirements are twofold: first, you must have a historical gas consumption on the Ethereum mainnet that meets the standard, tracked via Gas ID; second, you need to have participated in key community activities of the Gasless Future project, such as sharing your Gas ID on X platform or responding to actions related to the Open Gas Initiative.

In other words, both conditions are essential—having actual network usage records and proof of community participation. If you are an active user in the Ethereum ecosystem and have contributed to the community building of this project, then it’s worth checking your eligibility tomorrow.

ngl, if you look at the data on these snapshot mechanics... another gas farming scheme trying to look legit. need to see the actual distribution curve before getting hyped
