Open-source AI is no longer just an alternative in the traditional sense; it is becoming the main battleground for the next generation of intelligent applications.
The recent market focus is on an open-source AI project supported by well-known investors and gathering multiple veteran entrepreneurs. The concept of this project is very clear—while mainstream large companies generally move towards closed-source approaches, they are building an open AI ecosystem.
From a data perspective, the project's popularity continues to rise. The waiting list for chat applications has exceeded 2 million, and in the past 14 days, 70,000 new users have registered. More importantly, the scale of ecosystem collaboration has expanded to over 110 partners, covering industries such as traditional internet, finance, telecommunications, and even involving government agencies.
Why is everyone paying attention to this trend? On one hand, the research results have surpassed several leading closed-source AI vendors on multiple benchmark tests. On the other hand, considering that companies like OpenAI and Anthropic have already surpassed a valuation of $10 billion, the commercial potential of open-source AI routes has been seriously underestimated.
As the demand for decentralized AI infrastructure in Web3 applications continues to grow, this open technological direction may be rewriting the entire industry's competitive landscape.

2 million queue? Man, you need to discount that number; having one-tenth of that actually active would be good enough.
Open source is indeed attractive, but don't forget the speed at which big companies burn through money—small projects can't keep up.
Decentralized AI sounds very Web3, but how will it actually be implemented? I just want to see who can make money first.
This wave definitely has imagination, but the risk of valuation bubbles is also quite high.

2 million waiting queue? Why does this number sound so familiar, it feels like every project is bragging about this
The closed-source group is going to be counterattacked
Web3 finally has something decent

Open-source AI is about to take off. The folks at Bitmain saw it coming long ago, and now it's a bit late to react.

Open source is the way to go; the monopolies of big corporations should have been broken long ago.
As we've said before about Web3, decentralized AI is the only way to save lives.
