There's a useful analogy here: think of enterprise software as factory machinery, and agents as the workforce operating that equipment. The real skill isn't building new machines from scratch—it's training operators to use existing tools efficiently.

When it comes to agent development, the goal should be smart integration, not reinventing the wheel. You want agents working with proven frameworks like React, extracting maximum value with minimal custom code. Why rewrite what already works?

Here's what's interesting: as agents scale up and take on more tasks, the demand for quality software is likely to increase rather than decrease. Better tools get used more, not less. The winners in this shift will be platforms that make agents powerful without forcing developers to start from zero.

Tool reuse is indeed the core, but reality is often more complicated. Teams are often forced to rewrite because existing frameworks can't keep up with the bizarre demands of the Agent. Can the React ecosystem fully adapt to the Agent workflow? That's a bit optimistic.

This analogy hits the nail on the head, but I think there's another angle to consider: many teams still choose frameworks impulsively without thinking it through, and haven't clarified what the agent is supposed to do. Having good tools alone isn't enough; you need to first sort out the requirements and process design, or else even the most powerful framework is useless.

This analogy is indeed spot on. However, I believe the key is not whether to use React, but whether the agent can truly understand the boundaries of business logic. Many teams are now blindly stacking tools, which makes the agent even more fragile. Integrations built on an unstable foundation are pointless no matter how much they are expanded.
