Recently revisited some investment opportunities in MEME coins and want to discuss how to participate more confidently in the alpha stage of this track.

Instead of aimlessly chasing hot topics, it's better to reflect from the perspective of the token listing side. What kind of MEME coins will they choose to launch? The answer is simple—projects that can generate buzz, tell a good story, and have relatively controllable risks.

I’ve summarized a few specific standards. First, both market heat and storytelling angles need to be solid. No matter how good a project is, if it lacks popularity, it’s unlikely to succeed. Similarly, unoriginal perspectives are easily overlooked. Second, the market cap bottom line is very important—at least stable above $1 million, capable of fluctuating within a certain range without frequently hitting new lows. This indicates the project has basic consensus and liquidity support.

The third aspect is fundamentals—reasonable token distribution, preferably with thorough washouts. Projects with overly concentrated holdings often have hidden risks, whereas projects that have undergone proper washouts tend to perform healthier later on. Lastly, it’s essential to understand data on holder addresses and trading activity. Watching who is buying and how they operate can reveal a lot about the true temperature of the project.

Ultimately, the alpha of MEME coins lies in the details. Finding projects where heat, narrative, fundamentals, and data all align will significantly increase the success rate of participation.

It sounds very reasonable, but in practice, how do you determine the $1 million market cap threshold? Isn't it all just armchair strategizing after the fact?

This theory sounds good, but in actual practice, how many of the selected projects have really gone up?

ngl this 100m floor thing sounds nice on paper but i've seen that break so many times... watched positions get rekt in 2022 when everyone said "it's stable bro". the concentration thing tho, facts - heavy bags always dump when least expected. been there, lost that. just saying, check your health factor before fomo'ing in lol

Wait a minute, this set of arguments sounds so familiar... Isn't it just packaging projects that have been repeatedly cut? The early hype, wash trading, and data all look good, but after launch, it's still the same ending, right? No matter how beautifully it's said, it can't change the essence of MEME coins — it's just gambling on popularity.

Sounds good, but to be honest, I've been using this theory for a long time. The real issue is that you can't find a meme coin that actually hits all five of these factors at the same time.

That's right, but the key question is whether anyone can really stick to this standard for screening.
