According to Glassnode data, the Ethereum ecosystem has seen a surge of new participants in the past month. The number of active addresses has doubled from 4 million to 8 million. Even more interestingly, the retention rate of these new users is also impressive—monthly retention nearly doubled, indicating a significant increase in user stickiness.
Trading activity is also very lively. The average daily transaction volume has surpassed 2.8 million transactions, a 125% increase compared to the same period last year. The number of active addresses on the entire network has more than doubled, all signaling the same message: on-chain activity on Ethereum is accelerating.
As of the time of writing, $ETH is priced around $3,300. Whether this growth can continue remains to be seen, and will depend on subsequent user retention and trading activity trends.

Are new retail investors entering the market? 8 million new addresses, but the retention rate looks a bit questionable to me.

8 million new addresses? This data is impressive. Not sure if the big bull market is really here or if the data bots are just becoming active again.

8 million active addresses? That's quite impressive, but the real highlight is the doubling of new user retention rate, indicating that this isn't just a fleeting hype to fleece new users.
