Abstract generation in progress

【Crypto World】According to reports, the crypto data platform CoinGecko recently issued a clarification statement in response to rumors about the company considering a sale at an estimated valuation of approximately $500 million. Co-founder and CEO Bobby Ong stated on social media that they have recently received a large number of inquiries regarding a potential sale of the platform.

As a crypto data platform that has been operating stably for 12 years, CoinGecko said it will regularly evaluate strategic opportunities like any mature and profitable company to strengthen business capabilities and accelerate the realization of the platform’s mission. However, the company will not comment on specific acquisition transaction details for the time being.

Bobby Ong emphasized that the team is excited about the possibility of better serving users and supporting the adoption by cryptocurrency institutions. Most importantly, CoinGecko will continue to operate as planned, maintaining consistent standards of credibility in data provision and user service, and will not change its operational direction or data quality commitments due to strategic evaluations.

It's been 12 years and you're still here, which is not easy... --- Here we go again, "assessment opportunity" "strengthen capabilities," sounds just like nothing was said at all. --- Basically, no one wants it. If there were a big investor, wouldn't they clarify? --- But to be fair, Gecko's data quality is indeed stable. Maybe it would last longer if acquired. --- It's been 12 years of evaluation, so slow... If there was a big investor, they would have definitely invested already. --- Continue operating as planned? In other words, continue without money.

What does 12 years of stable operation mean? It shows that they are not short of money at all, daring to negotiate a 500 million valuation, which demonstrates confidence. --- All clarifications have been made that there are no ongoing transactions. Why spread rumors about selling? This industry’s problem needs to be fixed. --- Maintaining credibility standards is the key to success, much more reliable than being acquired by someone. --- Thinking about it, who would really want to sell a mature and profitable platform? I've heard this kind of excuse too many times. --- Curiosity has been satisfied. Can 12 years of accumulation be casually transferred? Overthinking it. --- CoinGecko’s response this time is quite steady, leaving no room for too much speculation.

12-year veteran still here saying "regularly assess strategic opportunities," typical of wanting it all and more It's obvious that no one is willing to take over, otherwise there wouldn't be so much cover-up A valuation of 500 million... to be honest, it's a bit questionable No comments is the best response, everyone understands This routine in the crypto world, clarification is the biggest announcement

A well-established platform with 12 years is really not just talk; this clarification is probably a slap in the face to the rumors. --- 5 billion valuation? I don't believe you, if they really wanted to sell, they would have sold already. The current stance is just testing the waters. --- Wait, how does "regular strategic opportunity assessment" sound like it's paving the way for subsequent actions... --- Bobby's response this time is quite clever, neither denying nor admitting, it's a standard "official gossip." --- Basically, it's about asking for a price and seeing if any big fish bite. Clever move. --- Running steadily for 12 years isn't easy, but during such times, the most likely to have surprises. Let's observe for now. --- Do you believe it? After this clarification, it might actually attract more buyers... --- If CoinGecko is really acquired, doesn't that raise questions about data independence?

A 12-year veteran still throwing riddles. Basically, someone comes knocking, but they're still arguing over the price.
