Discover the first personality of the day: Clarisse Hagège 🌟

CEO of Dfns, @clarisse_hagege made a mark in 2025 by consolidating her company as a key player in cryptocurrency security. @dfnsHQ notably raised $16 million in Series A funding, led by Further Ventures, with the participation of several major industry players.

In the same year, @IBM integrated Dfns technology in white label to offer a private key management infrastructure combining IBM Cloud and multipartite cryptography.

Finally, Dfns joined the network of operators of the Zama Confidential Blockchain Protocol as an MPC node, contributing to the development of privacy-preserving transactions on major public blockchains.

Clarisse Hagège began her career in 2009 at Goldman Sachs and then Merrill Lynch. She joined Crédit Agricole CIB in New York in 2011 as a business analyst to the CEO, before becoming a corporate banker and then vice president in 2015, ultimately serving as a global relationship manager for CAC 40 clients in 2017.

In January 2020, she founded Dfns, a company specializing in custody infrastructure for digital assets based on multipartite cryptography (MPC).
