Nvidia-supported AI infrastructure company Nscale is in talks for a $2 billion financing round
On January 9, it was reported that AI infrastructure company Nscale is negotiating a new round of financing worth approximately $2 billion, with Goldman Sachs and JPMorgan Chase collaborating to facilitate the deal. Nscale was spun off from a cryptocurrency mining company in 2024 and provides AI computing infrastructure.
The company has raised over $1.5 billion in funding between September and October 2025, after announcing partnerships with Nvidia and OpenAI. Microsoft is working with Nscale and local partners to build a $10 billion data center in Portugal and plans to lease data center capacity from Nscale in Norway and the UK.
