Seeing this sentence~ I think it makes a lot of sense~
I accidentally discovered this brain hole trick. At that time, my trading condition was terrible, and my decisions were almost all disastrous. Since then, "going on dates" has almost become an external module in my trading system. Because impulsive trading, the core reason, frankly, is not in the chart, nor in the strategy. It's that you're trapped in a mental tunnel of self-conflict. Your attention gets locked onto an anchor point, usually the candlestick. Then emotions start to cycle: greed, panic, hope, regret, and feeding each other. Once you're in this state, it's basically impossible to rely on "self-discipline" or willpower to pull yourself out.
