On December 22, BitLight (LIGHT) experienced a flash crash, with the price dropping to $0.91, a 70% decline within 24 hours. According to on-chain monitoring, six hours before the flash crash, LIGHT worth $6.4 million was transferred from a wallet that previously received funds from the team wallet to a CEX. In just four hours, the total liquidation amount of LIGHT contracts across the network reached $7.64 million, ranking first across the entire network. The project team's complete timeline of the dump and the LIGHT flash crash (Source: CMC): On December 19, the team-related wallet began the first wave of tentative dumping, transferring $2.4 million worth of LIGHT tokens to a CEX. This transfer did not raise market alarm at the time because LIGHT's price was still in an upward channel, rising from $1.35 to about $2. The market interpreted this as "normal."
