Canadabis Capital Posts Q1 Net Loss Amid Revenue Contraction

Canadabis Capital Inc. (CANB.V) disclosed its financial performance for the first quarter, revealing a shift from profitability to losses. The company recorded a net loss of C$128,539, translating to break-even per share, a notable reversal from the same period last year when it posted net income of C$321,569, also at break-even per share.

The revenue trajectory tells a similar story of decline. Q1 revenues totaled C$3.26 million, representing a significant pullback from the C$5.09 million generated in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. This contraction reflects challenging market conditions or operational adjustments within the company.

On a separate front, Canadabis Capital secured clearance from the TSX Venture Exchange for an alternative debt servicing arrangement. Rather than settling upcoming interest payments on its convertible debentures through cash outflows, the company has been authorized to fulfill this obligation via the issuance of common shares. This approach aligns with the terms embedded in the debenture indenture and compliance requirements set by the Exchange.

The share issuance settlement is scheduled for December 31, 2025, with a total of 2.77 million common shares to be distributed. These newly issued shares will carry a standard four-month and one-day hold period from their issuance date, restricting immediate trading activity for recipients.
