Over the years of navigating the crypto market, I’ve tried all kinds of stablecoin products. The ones I truly trust are decentralized stablecoins that use over-collateralization mechanisms. Having experienced the de-pegging of algorithmic stablecoins before, I place great importance on risk control for stablecoins. A 1:1 peg mechanism combined with solid over-collateralization guarantees is what I consider truly "stable."

The first time I used it for DeFi liquidity mining, I was a bit hesitant—worried that price fluctuations might mess up the yield calculations. Unexpectedly, throughout the process, the yield settlement was incredibly smooth, almost like traditional fiat financial management. Later, when I used it for trading pair settlements on exchanges, its liquidity also exceeded expectations—orders were filled instantly, with zero lag. Even friends who trade NFTs prefer using it as a settlement tool, mainly because of its low volatility, so they don’t have to worry about token price swings disrupting their trading rhythm.

As an ordinary user, I don’t fully understand the complex technical architecture. But my intuitive feeling is that it’s easy to use and reliable. It’s not confined to a single platform but continues to expand its application scenarios within the mainstream trading ecosystem—from spot trading and on-chain financial management to various ecological project collaborations, its presence is becoming increasingly strong. Every time I discuss stablecoins with others in the community, I mention it. Because in the crypto market, "stability" is the prerequisite for all operations, and products like this put that into practice. Recently, I’ve seen it engage in new ecological collaborations, and I’m quite looking forward to it.

Speaking of the de-anchoring incident, it really left me with psychological trauma. Now I only trust the over-collateralization approach.

That time of de-pegging really broke my defenses; over-collateralization is still more reliable.

Just be reliable, the lessons from algorithmic coins are still fresh in my mind.

I've also fallen into the trap of algorithmic stablecoins; the moment of de-pegging was truly despairing. Over-collateralization is indeed reliable; my sleep quality has improved. Instant transactions are truly impressive, much more convincing than a bunch of project teams' bragging. Ecosystem applications are expanding more and more; this is the true path that stablecoins should take.
