US stocks opened steady, with the overall trend slightly weak. The Dow Jones Industrial Average dipped 0.1%, the S&P 500 declined 0.03%, and the Nasdaq Composite had the smallest decline, falling only 0.02%.

Bad news came from the chip sector. Intel's stock plummeted 3% due to industry reports that NVIDIA has paused its testing plans for the 18A process technology. This move may reflect market concerns about Intel's advanced process route.

The consumer sector showed mixed performance. Athletic brand Nike rose 3% against the trend. On the news front, Apple CEO Tim Cook recently made a large purchase, investing approximately $2.95 million to buy 50,000 shares of Nike stock. This move was interpreted by the market as a bullish signal on Nike's long-term prospects.

In the biotech sector, a major merger was announced. Danaher Corporation's stock soared 38%, marking the largest single-day gain in four years. Sanofi announced it would acquire the company for $2.2 billion. This deal also ignited investor enthusiasm for the pharmaceutical sector.

Intel's performance this time is really disappointing; Nvidia's one statement directly shut it down. The news about Cook buying Nike is quite interesting; the actions of the big players are always signals. The pharmaceutical sector has indeed been hot, with a 38% single-day surge, which is incredible. Why do I feel like all stocks today lack energy? Wait, Sanofi's $2.2 billion acquisition of Denava—does this valuation make sense? The NASDAQ's resilience against declines is still somewhat interesting. Chip competition is really becoming more and more intense.

Cook really outdid himself this time, spending $2.95 million to buy Nike stock. He's telling us that even though the Nasdaq's decline is small, consumer stocks are the real way out... Anyway, Intel's 18A process is outdated, it seems the chip industry has been pretty cold lately. On the pharma side, there's a straight 38% increase—laughable. This is why some people always say that not understanding chips doesn't matter; buying pharma guarantees profits... Wait, are you guys about to start chasing the high again?

Cook's move is clever; investing in Nike is like saying chips are no longer good, shifting to consumer goods. I don't quite understand the game of smart people.

Cook buys Nike, I follow suit. This guy's vision is on point. Anyway, Intel got completely crushed by Nvidia in the chip sector, haha. Serves them right.

This time, Intel is really in a bit of trouble, as NVIDIA has directly turned around.
