Basic Structure of P2P Trading

C2C (Customer-to-Customer) refers to peer-to-peer transactions, meaning users trade directly with each other. Unlike traditional centralized trading models, the platform acts as an intermediary.

In the trading process, the seller’s offered goods are locked on the platform. The seller cannot receive the goods until the buyer completes the payment. This mechanism helps prevent issues where the buyer pays but the seller does not deliver the goods.

Security Mechanisms of C2C Trading

The platform manages the entire transaction flow by controlling fund movements. If the seller reports false information, the buyer can provide proof by submitting the remittance record. The platform can respond to such misconduct with fines or confiscation of deposits, increasing the cost of malicious behavior for sellers and ensuring overall system security.

Typical Flow for Purchasing USDT

1. Market Selection and Currency Setting
Select the “Choose by Yourself” option in the trading section to enter P2P trading mode. Then specify the fiat currency to use, such as CNY or other currencies.

2. Specify Purchase Amount and Payment Method
Enter the amount of USDT you want to buy and choose from available payment methods. Options include Alipay, bank transfer, and more. It is recommended to prioritize sellers with high success rates. Sellers with over 99% success rate have extensive transaction experience and are more reliable.

3. Confirm Order and Make Payment
Reconfirm the purchase amount, which will automatically calculate the amount of USDT to be received. After clicking “Buy,” transfer directly according to the payment method specified by the seller.

4. Confirm Receipt
After completing the payment, notify the platform, and the seller will send the USDT. Wait until the transaction is complete.

Important Safety Measures in P2P Trading

Real-Name Verification of Payment Methods
The bank account, WeChat, Alipay used for payment must match your real-name verification information. Situations like “using my wife’s account” or “paying under my parents’ name” are highly likely to be scams.

Handling Transfers from Third-Party Accounts
If the other party uses someone else’s account without permission to send you money, immediately refund the money. Then submit the withdrawal record to the platform and request to cancel the order. This helps protect your assets and reputation.

Be Cautious of Messages from Sellers
After P2P trading, sellers may contact you via WeChat or other platforms to propose investment projects or profit schemes. This is a typical scam pattern. Do not respond to such proposals.

Payment Method Selection Strategy
Bank cards, WeChat, and Alipay are subject to risk management during transactions and may be blocked. If you frequently use WeChat Pay, conducting transactions via Alipay can minimize the impact on your daily life if one platform gets blocked.

Managing USDT After Purchase

Once the transaction is complete, the purchased USDT will be credited to your wallet’s capital account. You can check the remaining USDT balance in the “Fund Account” section of your wallet.

Summary

A common trap for beginners is not the platform itself but their own impatience and greed. The basic strategy is to use spare funds to buy USDT and hold it long-term. No platform guarantees quick profits, so always prioritize safe trading and stay vigilant—this is the key to success in cryptocurrency trading.
