🍕 A Strange Story: The Man Who Bought Pizza with 10,000 Bitcoin!

In 2010, when Bitcoin was barely known, an American programmer named
Laszlo Hanyecz decided to try a simple and strange experiment.
He posted an ad in a forum and said:
“I will pay 10,000 BTC for two pizzas.”
And indeed, someone agreed, and two regular pizzas were bought for 10,000 Bitcoin.
At that time:
Transaction value ≈ $40
No one imagined that Bitcoin would reach thousands of dollars
⏳ After years…
That 10,000 BTC became:
More than $300 million
And at market peaks: hundreds of millions
Thus, Laszlo entered history as the owner of:
The most expensive pizza ever eaten in human history
And the strangest?
Laszlo later stated that he does not regret it, because he was the first to prove that Bitcoin can be used as real money.
Today, this event is celebrated annually under the name:
🟠 Bitcoin Pizza Day — May 22
