I tell you, making money in this life really relies on those few historic big crashes.
But the most ironic thing is, 99% of people, including me, were scared out of their wits during the crashes, crawling and fleeing out. Do you remember that time with crude oil? I bought in at 40, thought I was Buffett reincarnated, totally badass. And what happened? It kept falling to 20. Back then, my palms were sweaty, my mind buzzing, and one voice kept shouting: Run! If you don’t run now, you'll lose even your underwear! And then? I cut it all off in one go. That very night, it dropped to 5. A year later, it was 90. I’ve made more than one stupid mistake like that. During SARS, silver paper was at 11, I bought in. It rose to 15, I was over the moon, quickly sold it, thinking I’d made a huge profit, even added a chicken leg at night. The rest of the story, I won’t say. It’s all tears. So you see, we all understand the principle, who wouldn’t memorize “fear others, be greedy”? But when blood is flowing, accounts are dropping, your body is much more honest than your brain. That trembling, that heart palpitations, that desire to just protect the principal—it's the fear embedded in your genes. Knowledge and logic, at that moment, are useless. What does making money depend on? It’s the cultivation of anti-human nature. It’s the courage to take a step forward when everyone else is retreating at the edge of an abyss. $ETH
