Day trading, should you adopt a high win rate with a low risk-reward ratio, or a low win rate with a high risk-reward ratio?

From my personal trading style, I choose high win rate + low risk-reward ratio. Why?
First, trading with a high win rate improves your trading mindset.
Day trading involves a high frequency of trades and many orders. Traders' emotions are constantly on edge, with significant emotional fluctuations. In this state, the advantage of high win rate + low risk-reward ratio becomes evident because, in high win rate trading, there are more correct trades and fewer mistakes.
Try to imagine: out of 100 trades, if 60-80 are correct, most of the time you can secure profits. Wouldn’t your emotions be more stable and your execution more effective?
If you choose a high risk-reward ratio, and out of 100 trades, 60-80 are wrong, it’s possible to lose 20 trades in a row. Can you withstand continuous losses like that?
Day trading is quite special. From a psychological perspective, I think it’s more suitable to pursue high win rate + low risk-reward ratio—small profits but more consistent gains.
If it were you trading, how would you choose? Leave a comment in the dynamic area, and let’s discuss together.
1: Prefer high risk-reward ratio,
2: Or prefer high win rate with low risk-reward ratio.
