I’ve always felt that horoscopes are a very useful “psychological crutch” for me.

It’s not superstition.
It’s just that when I didn’t know myself well enough, they temporarily provided me with a “backup personality.”

The book says:
Sagittarius is very optimistic and loves to look forward.

But to be honest, I wasn’t always optimistic.
I would get anxious when something went wrong, want to escape when faced with trouble, a typical mindset that would crumble first.

Later, I gradually changed
Every time I faced a big problem, I would tell myself in my heart:
“Stay calm, you’re a Sagittarius, you should be more optimistic.”

This phrase is quite mystical, but also very effective.
It doesn’t really change my fate; it just helps me at critical moments to remind me that I can still try.

And then it’s quite magical
When I forcibly approach problems with a preset mindset of “I should be optimistic,”
My actions tend to be a little faster than my emotions.
First find a solution, then break down.
When the trouble really passes, I look back
and realize that what once felt like the sky falling or the earth splitting apart, was actually just like that.

Gradually, I shifted from “Because I’m a Sagittarius, I’m optimistic,”
to
“Having gone through so many troubles and still alive, I won’t die this time either.”

Now, I no longer need to use Sagittarius to remind myself to stay optimistic.
I finally have a set of evidence of my own:
Reality has repeatedly proven
that I can handle even the biggest troubles.

Before I had the ability to create my own persona, the zodiac first borrowed me one.
As I gradually develop true self-awareness, it can step back into the background.

So I don’t dislike “psychological suggestion” at all.
Even if it comes from astrology, horoscopes, tarot, or personality tests,
as long as there’s one premise:
It’s not meant to make decisions for you,
but to help you take that first step in the dark.

After walking through enough troubles,
you will realize
that what really supports you is not “I am a certain sign,”
but a deeper belief:

“No matter what happens, I am capable of gradually turning the situation around.”

Horoscopes are my borrowed initial buff,
but the attributes I develop later are my own points of strength.
