From confusion to stability, the first lesson of my Gate trading journey.
I still remember the first time I opened Gate and saw the market all in green. My first reaction was not panic, but rather to wonder if my phone was broken. It was only later that I understood this is the market's everyday expression. Since then, I set my first trading principle for myself: "Do not act when you do not understand; act less when you do understand."
During my time at Gate, I have experienced various mindsets such as chasing high prices, missing opportunities, selling early for profit, and cutting losses during pullbacks. But what truly changed my trading approach was learning to document my strategies and review each operation. I began to focus on trends rather than short-term emotions; on positions rather than fantasizing about profits; and on risks rather than market noise.
I gradually understand: trading is not about luck, it's about discipline; it's not about speed, it's about patience. Gate Square has become a place for me to absorb experiences, observing others' strategies, reflecting on my own operations, and gaining new perspectives from discussions.
