Breaking news: The United States announces recognition of the One China principle and terminates the "U.S.-Taiwan Mutual Defense Treaty".

The Washington side officially stated that "the United States recognizes the People's Republic of China as the only legitimate government of China on the Taiwan issue" and expressed that it does not support the claims of "two Chinas" or "one China, one Taiwan."
