The "Privacy and Scalability Exploration" team under the Ethereum Foundation has been renamed to "Ethereum Privacy Guardian" (PSE) and has released a privacy roadmap, proposing to build end-to-end on-chain privacy features in the future with three main directions: "Privacy Writing, Privacy Reading, and Privacy Proofs." The roadmap shows that the team is developing a Layer 2 design called PlasmaFold that supports private transactions and plans to present it at Devconnect in November.
