#SSV After multiple Ethereum validators were slashed on the network, SSV Labs CEO Alon Muroch assured users that the protocol itself remains secure. Investigations revealed that these incidents (one involving Ankr and the other involving the migrated Allnodes cluster) stemmed from external secret key management issues, rather than SSV's infrastructure. Ankr acknowledged that a configuration error caused the keys to be activated simultaneously, leading to the slashing. SSV emphasized that risks only arise when keys are managed outside of its system.
