Gate News update, April 2, the General Office of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued a notice on launching a special initiative to empower small and medium-sized enterprises with inclusive computing power. The notice proposes an innovation in computing power service models to make them broadly accessible, and to improve the dedicated sections for small and medium-sized enterprises on the China computing power platform; the dedicated sections for the docking of computing power resources in the China Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Service Network; and the dedicated sections for national computing power internet service nodes, thereby promoting precise matching between small and medium-sized enterprise needs and the supply of computing power resources. The notice specifies the promotion of flexible payment models such as charging by “card time” and “nucleus time” and by Token (a unit for measuring computing power). It also explores innovative business models such as “a computing power bank” and “a computing power marketplace,” supporting small and medium-sized enterprises in depositing idle computing power resources and enabling flexible takeout through cross-regional and cross-period scheduling. In addition, the notice proposes implementing an artificial intelligence small and medium-sized enterprise entrepreneurship support plan, encouraging local authorities to provide subsidies to small and medium-sized enterprises that align with industrial orientations through the dedicated sections on small and medium-sized enterprise platforms, using “computing power vouchers,” “storage power vouchers,” and “transport power vouchers,” and to simplify the process for obtaining and using them.
