Gate News: On March 11, Web3 gaming protocol Genome posted a community announcement stating that the project is in the final stage of assessing whether it can continue operations. Due to the overall market downturn and cooling of the InfoFi sector, the project is very likely to be terminated, and it has never issued tokens. Genome raised approximately $600,000 through NFT sales and public fundraising over about 8 to 10 months, along with the core team investing around $500,000 of their own money and deferred salaries, totaling an investment of approximately $950,000 to $1 million. The team stated they are still exploring financing, acquisition, or partnership opportunities and committed to maintaining transparent communication.
