Satellite data shows that Iran has exported at least 11 million barrels of crude oil through the Strait of Hormuz since February 28.

Gate News Report, March 9 — Satellite monitoring organization TankerTrackers.com reports that Iran is still transporting large quantities of crude oil through the Strait of Hormuz, a key Middle Eastern oil transit route. Co-founder Samir Madani stated that since the outbreak of the conflict on February 28, Iran has shipped at least 11 to 12 million barrels of crude oil through the waterway. The actual number may be higher, but satellite data collection has been delayed due to the conflict. TankerTrackers.com uses satellite imagery to monitor ships, even when vessels turn off their transponders, allowing them to track their movements.
