Trump: Iran's new Supreme Leader cannot stay in power for long without approval from the U.S.

Gate News Report, March 8 — According to ABC News, Trump made a strong statement during an interview regarding Iran’s upcoming selection of the next Supreme Leader. He said that if the new leader is not approved in advance by the U.S., “they won’t stay in power for long.” Trump stated, “He must get our approval. If he doesn’t, he won’t be in power for very long. We need to ensure we don’t go through the same cycle every 10 years, especially when you don’t have a president like me who refuses to compromise.” He added, “I don’t want people to have to go through the same thing again in five years, and even worse, they must never be allowed to have nuclear weapons.”
