ME News, April 7 (UTC+8): French Société Générale analyst Kit Juckes said in a report that if the Federal Reserve keeps interest rates unchanged for the remainder of this year as expected, the US dollar could trade in a range. He noted that markets expect all G10 central banks except the Federal Reserve to raise interest rates. Although among G10 economies, only Sweden’s projected growth rate exceeds that of the United States this year. These interest rate expectations limit the extent to which the US dollar can appreciate. And if the Federal Reserve were to cut rates sharply amid high inflation and a loose fiscal policy backdrop, the US dollar is likely to fall. (Source: Jinshi)
