Tempo Runs Below Bitcoin’s TPS After $500M Raise

Tempo is publishing about 2.5 transactions per second after raising $500 million, below Bitcoin’s roughly five TPS. Tempo’s mainnet went live on March 18, and the chain reported about 5,600 daily active users five weeks later. Tempo also reported $205 in 24-hour fees, $3 million in total value locked, and sharp drops from March peaks in wallets, transfers, and DEX activity.
