I just noticed something that many are overlooking with Algorand staking on Revolut. At first glance, it seems like just another crypto feature added by a fintech platform, but the reality is much more interesting than that.

Revolut has, what, 40 million active users? Maybe more at this point. And suddenly, all those users have direct access to Algorand staking without needing to go to a traditional exchange. That’s mass-scale distribution.

Think of it this way: most Revolut users aren’t crypto degens; they’re regular people using the app for transfers, virtual cards, that kind of thing. Now, out of nowhere, they have the option to stake and earn yield. It’s a super low entry point for people who never considered participating in the Algorand ecosystem.

What really catches my attention is the deeper implication. It’s not just that Algorand gains more holders. It’s that it’s gaining distribution in a mainstream context, on a platform people already use for their daily finances. That completely shifts the narrative game.

Today, Revolut is staking Algorand. Tomorrow, how many other projects will want the same treatment? The competition to be on platforms with that reach will intensify. And the projects that manage to get that early distribution will have a huge advantage.

If you’re an Algo holder, this is bullish. If you’re a market observer, this is a pattern worth watching. Adoption doesn’t always come from where you expect.
