On the morning of April 8th, the airline sector performed strongly, with China Express Airlines and China Eastern Airlines jointly hitting the daily limit.
In today’s early trading, the A-share market’s aviation sector performed strongly, and multiple airline stocks rose together. As of 9:44 AM, Huaxia Airlines and China Eastern Airlines both were locked limit-up, with Southern Airlines’ gain nearing the limit-up line. Stocks such as Spring Airlines, Juneyao Airlines, and Air China also followed suit and strengthened, and market trading activity increased significantly.
According to data on the trading board, after Huaxia Airlines opened, it surged rapidly, reaching the limit-up in just over ten minutes. China Eastern Airlines followed closely to hit the limit-up, while Southern Airlines’ gains at one point exceeded 9%. Spring Airlines and Juneyao Airlines both rose by more than 5%, and Air China also recorded a noticeable increase. Analysts noted that factors such as the recent decline in international oil prices and the strengthening of the RMB exchange rate may provide short-term support for the aviation sector. Combined with growing expectations of a gradual improvement in industry fundamentals, investor attention has increased markedly.
