Ningxia Lingwu’s 4 million kW coal-mining subsidence zone compound photovoltaic base project has been completed and put into operation

On February 28, the Lingwu Phase II photovoltaic project completed trial operation and was officially handed over for production, marking the commissioning and operation of the Ningxia Lingwu 4-million-kilowatt coal-mining subsidence area multi-energy complementary photovoltaic power base project—the largest single photovoltaic project in China in a coal-mining subsidence area. By this point, the Ningxia coal-mining subsidence area multi-energy complementary photovoltaic power base project with a land area of 180k mu and a total installed capacity of 6 million kilowatts has been fully completed. The project will deliver “west-to-east power transfer” clean electricity of about 10.8 billion kWh each year via the Lingshao HVDC line from Ningxia to Zhejiang. (Xinhua News Agency)
